Our Mission
Effective access to modern mental health resources lacks transparency, simplicity, and efficiency...and all that can be intimidating. An institution's ability to recognize vulnerable individuals within their community and help them navigate their circumstances is a difficult request.
The Wellness U approach to mental health improves the balance between the person and their team or community through the combination of interactive social technology and established mental health research. That approach can lead to a sustainable and improved institutional culture that offers both students, student-athletes, and staff a more supportive environment to thrive and grow.
When we do that, we begin to build a community culture that can support everyone.
Negative headlines about athletic departments, coaches, staff, and support personnel keep coming, and they won't stop unless we collectively do something to prevent them.
